One of Colombia’s premiere salsa bands, Orquesta Guayacan was created by an ex member of Grupo Niche named Alexis Lozano. During the 80’s, Guayacan consistently delivered its unique style of salsa with long instrumental sessions that have a deep swing to them.

A well-known hit titled “Oiga Mire Vea” continues to gain airtime decades after its release. Recently, the group released a new album with the monster hit “Cuando Hablan Las Miradas”, which was was unofficially the song of the Feria De Cali in December 2005. ~ Salsa Blvd
